NRB Announces Proclaim 16

Annual event will be held Feb. 23–26 in Nashville

The National Religious Broadcasters says its 2016 annual event, “Proclaim 16.” The 2016 convention will be held Feb. 23–26 in Nashville, Tenn. A preconvention event will be held Feb. 22, and will also play host to a presidential candidate forum.

The organization says the convention’s new name and theme originated “from a strengthened mission focused on advancing biblical truth, promoting media excellence and defending free speech.”

The 2015 convention drew around 4,300 attendees, including radio and TV station owners and operators, pastors, church media professionals, radio and TV program producers, college educators, students, film producers, Web and mobile developers, social media managers, marketing representatives and ministry staff members.

Registration for Proclaim 16 will open later this summer, and opportunities will be available soon for organizations interested in exhibiting, reserving space, sponsoring, or holding an event. In 2016, admission to the exposition floor will be free.

Also, the event’s new platinum sponsor is the Museum of the Bible, a 430,000-square foot museum, which is currently under construction in Washington.
