NRB Convention Will Feature Cruz and Carson

Proclaim 16 includes Presidential Candidates Forum on Feb. 26

Scheduled shortly before the “Super Tuesday” primaries, Proclaim 16, the National Religious Broadcasters’ International Christian Media Convention, will host a Presidential Candidates Forum. Salem Media Group and NRBTV will broadcast the forum on national radio and TV stations.

“This event, just days before the March 1 ‘SEC Primary,’ is a must for anyone who wants to get a better idea of where the presidential candidates stand on issues that Christians care about,” said NRB President and CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson.

Radio host and author Eric Metaxas will moderate individual sessions with each participating candidate. The event will also feature a live panel for each session to ask candidates questions.

NRB organizers have announced that candidates Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and Dr. Ben Carson have confirmed attendance on Friday, Feb. 26. Additionally, other (yet unnamed) candidates have committed but are coordinating forum dates.

Proclaim 16 will be held Feb. 23–26 in Nashville, Tenn., at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. There is a related Digital Media Summit on Feb. 22.
