The National Religious Broadcasters has renamed its Washington, D.C. office to honor former executive director Ben Armstrong.
The office will officially be known as the Ben Armstrong Center for Media Freedom. Armstrong was executive of the NRB from 1966 to 1990. The NRB is an association of religious radio and TV broadcasters.
The official dedication was attended by NRB Chairman Rich Bott; NRB President/CEO Dr. Frank Wright; NRB Network President/CEO Troy Miller; NRB EVP/COO Linda Smith; NRB SVP Communications/General Counsel Craig Parshall; NRB VP Government Relations Aaron Mercer; NRB VP Membership Robert McFarland; NRB Executive Assistant to the EVP and COO Laura Wright; Armstrong’s long-time assistant Anne Dunlap and Armstrong’s nephew Glen Megill.
