NRB Leader to Exit

Dr. Frank Wright intends to leave in October

The leader of the National Religious Broadcasters is stepping down.

In a resignation letter to the NRB board, association President/CEO Dr. Frank Wright said: “I have prayerfully concluded that my season of service at NRB is drawing to a close.” No other reason was given publicly.

He intends to step down as of Oct. 4.

Wright has held the NRB position since 2003. NRB Board Chairman Richard Bott thanked Wright, stating: “We especially appreciate the top-notch team of dedicated professionals he has assembled to do the work of NRB, serve our membership and protect religious free speech on Capitol Hill.”

Members of the NRB board will form a search committee to find a successor, the association said.
