NRB Names Show Winners

Station of the Year, Program of the Year among post-show announcements

This year’s National Religious Broadcasters show has finished and with it comes a handful of award announcements made at the show.

The 2012 NRB Radio Station of the Year Award went to KSBJ(FM) in Houston. NRB President and CEO Dr. Frank Wright noted that KSBJ is more than simply a popular station but that it “mentors” other stations and provides guidance to those wishing to start a Christian station.

Focus on the Family” won the NRB Radio Program of the Year Award. “Focus on the Family” is the flagship show of the Focus on the Family ministry.

The NRB Radio Impact Award winner was “Hope for the Heart,” a program hosted by June Hunt. “Hope for the Heart is no stranger to the NRB awards platform having won the Genesis Award for the Best New Radio Program in 1986 and Radio Program of the Year in 1989.
