The National Religious Broadcasters, an organization of Christian broadcasters, has announced two promotions.
Dr. Ron Harris
Dr. Linda Smith Dr. Ron Harris, senior vice president for strategic partnerships, has had his responsibility widened; he also now is executive director of the International Committee. The association said that in recent years, Harris has established strategic relationships with Christian media professionals in other countries. He began his career in radio 45 years ago during college in Oklahoma and is a former NRB board chairman.
The second new appointment concerned Dr. Linda Smith. Formerly assistant to the president of NRB, she is now executive vice president and chief operating officer. She said: “The mission of this organization is unique to any other, working to protect the rights of Christian media to spread the Gospel.” She has experience working in congressional, media and public relations with several organizations.
NRB President and CEO Dr. Frank Wright made the announcement.
