NRB Sets 2001 Convention Dates

National Religious Broadcasters has confirmed dates for its 58th annual convention, Feb. 10-13, 2001 in Dallas.
The NRB convention will feature speakers, authors, humorists and musicians. On the agenda for the February meeting are several events beginning with Saturday evening’s Opening General Session, emceed by humorist Chonda Pierce and featuring a message from Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Ministries, Riverside, Calif.
Plans for the 2001 convention include educational workshops featuring the top leaders in the industry. Workshop topics include: Internet Technology, E-commerce, Online Ministry and Promotions; Biblical Foundations for Fundraising; TV – The Year of Convergence and Transforming Christian Radio Powerfully.
Special events during the convention include the Program Showcase highlighting the best new Christian TV and video programs, the Intercollegiate Religious Broadcasters Student Radio and TV awards and the Al Sanders Scholarship essay contest winners. IRB students also will be able to participate in a job fair featuring more than 20 employers.
