NRG Media Creates “Director of Integrated Media”

Midwest broadcaster hires Erica Dreyer

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based NRG Media has created a “Director of Integrated Media” position to serve its four-state station group.

NRG has a total of 45 stations in Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Illinois.

The broadcaster has hired Erica Dreyer to fill the position. Dreyer was director of Integrated Media for both Maverick Media of Rockford, Ill. and Mid-West Family Broadcasting of Rockford for the past seven and a half years. For Maverick, Dreyer developed products and pricing guidelines, facilitated site redesigns and was responsible for training sales reps and department heads in creating effective digital and integrated campaigns.

“Digital media offers the greatest potential revenue growth for radio today,” said NRG Media President/CEO Mary Quass. She characterized Dreyer as a “maverick.”

In her new position, Dreyer will be responsible for infusing new inventory and pricing techniques into NRG’s interactive portfolio. She will also train and educate sales departments to produce more sophisticated, high-value integrated solutions for clients and help educate advertisers about those, a release said.

Dreyer comes on board Sept. 30 and will be based out of Rockford.
