NRJ International Reports Increased Earnings

After the first half of 2008, NRJ International has reported a 7.4 percent jump in earnings over the same period last year.

After the first half of 2008, NRJ International (a division of the French NRJ Group) has reported a jump in earnings from €16.2 million to €17.4 million — a 7.4 percent increase over the same period last year.

Its operating results measure in at €1.1 million, compared with a loss of €500,000 at the end of June 2007, equaling a gain of €1.6 million. The contribution mainly comes from operations in Finland, Austria and Germany, according to NRJ.

“The results show the positive impact of the multimedia strategy that NRJ International has been implementing since a few years. It gives us the opportunity to draw revenues on top of the traditional radio income, coming from Internet, new products, and events”, said Mathieu Sibille, CEO NRJ International.

On an international level, the NRJ Group is further pursuing its development.
