NYC Television Week Debuts in October

Event geared toward TV professionals looking for the latest in television technology

Radio World publisher NewBay Media has a new event scheduled for the 2013 broadcast industry show calendar — NYC Television Week. NewBay Media also publishes TV Technology, Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and Next TV.

NYC Television Week is scheduled for Oct. 28–31 at select locations throughout Manhattan. A release describes the event: “NYC Television Week will uniquely cover the breadth of today’s dynamic TV industry — from broadcast to cable, satellite to internet video, and beyond. Conferences, award presentations, networking events and seminars are planned that will engage the diversity of talent and roles that make today’s TV business one of the world’s most dynamic and exciting industries.”

It adds that “leaders from all corners of the TV business will be at NYC Television Week, including industry management, programmers, technologists, engineers and talent, as well as those that want to reach TV advertisers and sponsors.”

The lead-off event is a breakfast on Oct. 28 and the day is planned to culminate with the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame event at the Waldorf-Astoria. More details on events, conferences and additional plans will be forthcoming. Contact Louis Hillelson for more information.
