Glenn O’Farrell will leave the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.
He said that despite “sometimes challenging circumstances, the CAB has developed a constructive and credentialed relationship with government, and in particular with the CRTC and the Copyright Board.”
CAB Chair Charlotte Bell thanked him for his “leadership throughout these past years of fundamental change in the media marketplace” and called him “an extremely capable advocate.”
O’Farrell joined the CAB as president and CEO in 2002 from the Global Television Network.
