A Washington think-tank has awarded kudos to broadcaster William O’Shaughnessy. “The Media Institute” cited O’Shaughnessy as “a champion of free speech and free press.”
Former New York Gov. Mario M. Cuomo presented the citation at a dinner party for O’Shaughnessy’s 65th birthday at Le Cirque in New York City.
O’Shaughnessy is president of WVOX and WRTN, Westchester, N.Y.
