An Ohio station says it’s programming the first southern gospel format on a multicast channel.
WEEC(FM) HD2, Springfield, Ohio says its programming is music-intensive and provides a digital companion on the radio and online at the station Web site.
Listener-supported WEEC is a non-commercial religious-formatted facility.
According to Program Director Chris Grindrod, October is a big month for the station. “This HD channel offers current songs from the Singing News magazine charts and also offers gold and classics from several decades and serves as a slice of music history.”
