The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio group’s Executive Committee has chosen Kay Olin to succeed Heidi Raphael as the official MIW spokesperson.
Olin is president of Olin and Associates LLC.
Former president of Local Focus Radio, Olin is a 30+ year radio veteran with both local and national experience. Olin also serves as the national chair for the Alliance for Women in Media.
“I have been both mentored and inspired by this wonderful group of generous professionals,” Olin said. “Their skills and commitment to reaching back and supporting other women’s entrée into broadcast leadership is inspirational and makes a grand difference on behalf of so many.”
Raphael, will continue to serve as a member of the MIW Executive Committee.
The Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio group consists of top-level radio women dedicated to using their influence and resources to help women in radio develop strong management and leadership skills. The group is also committed to advocating the advancement of women to senior positions broadcasting.
