New on the product marketplace is the Omnia A/X, a software audio processor designed for streaming audio. It works with third-party streaming audio encoders to bring the benefits of broadcast processing to audio workstations.
The software is designed for Windows PCs and, the company says, works with most applications that use the Windows wave in/out driver interface, including Windows Media, Real and MP3 streaming encoders.
Applications include Webcasting, satellite distribution, point-to-point audio streaming and video post-production.
Retail price is $595.
