Clear Channel’s Birmingham, Ala., operation is using an Omnia.9 processor.
Bob Newberry is the market engineering manager. In an Omnia press release, he’s quoted describing features he appreciates, including the “de-clipper” that restores the waveforms of poorly recorded music.
In addition to the unit’s audio performance, he also likes the processor’s patch points, which allow a user to select and monitor each of the internal audio stages for a more in-depth analysis at what is happening inside.
