OMT Technologies released iMediaTouch v2.6.2 on-air software with added features such as Now Playing, which allows display of album graphics and text content using XML Active JPG output via UDP port.
The Intel Core 2 Duo processor also is fully supported.
Additional highlights include enhancements made to the Store Forward feature, which now automatically backs up the audio database master pointer file to a secondary drive along with copying the audio library database to the tertiary backup computer. The company says this improvement enables a smooth transition for air studio redundancy between any server database: A, B or to the locally stored database backup on the local C drive.
Current users of iMediaTouch can download the v2.6.2 upgrade from their FTP accounts using the interactive iMedia Support Menu.
OMT says it will be releasing iMediaTouch v3 in early 2008.
