OMT Inc. said its sales in the second quarter were 3% higher than the same period a year ago, driven by commercial custom projects.
Excluding custom projects, its Commercial and Retail segments experienced lower new sales in the second quarter, while recurring revenue from both increased by 59%. Gross profit was up 9%.
The supplier cited new retail radio customers for its in-store music and messaging services, and said it recently completed the first major milestone in the American Forces Radio and Television Service system project, which included factory testing of iMediaTouch within the large-scale system.
The company’s stock is publicly traded in Canada.
