Dave Coggins

Audio processor manufacturer Orban announced the promotion of David Coggins to vice president of manufacturing operations. He will be responsible for the company’s product line. He has served as Orban’s engineering product manager from 2006–2010, and director of manufacturing from 2010 to the present.

Coggins has worked for the past seven years with Bob Orban, Greg Ogonowski, and the Orban engineering team. He will continue to be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Scottsdale but will work with Orban personnel in Arizona, Arkansas, California and Germany, a release said.

“Since Dave started with our company in 2006, he has proved himself as a true professional and outstanding engineer,” Orban President Jay Brentlinger said.

Coggins previously worked at Arizona Instrument LLC as a design engineer and project leader prior to joining Orban. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Keith Cheatem, a 20-year veteran at the company, has also been promoted to director of customer service and sales support. Cheatem began his career with Orban at the San Leandro, Calif., location before transferring to the Arizona corporate offices in 2006. Throughout his tenure, he has contributed to the growth and stability of the customer service department, the company said. Cheatem has also worked in the company’s assembly, shipping and sales departments.
