The International Association of Audio Information Services is asking for topic submissions for its 2013 conference this spring.
The IAAIS is a volunteer membership organization of services that turn text into speech for people who cannot see, hold or comprehend the printed word and who may be unable to access information due to a disability or health condition.
Its conferences are designed to be sources of education, inspiration, and an opportunity for professionals to share with others in the same field.
IAAIS 2013 takes place June 6–8 at the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel, in Minneapolis.
Topics should relate to the nonprofit sector with a focus on information delivery. Possible presentations include but are not limited to: affordable radios, technology and content delivery technologies as well as volunteer management, fundraising and grant writing.
Submit written proposals by March 15 to Lori Kesinger.
