Veteran yarn-spinner Charles Osgood has re-signed with WestwoodOne to continue his “The Osgood File,” for many more years.
The four two-minute vignettes are heard daily, usually aired in the morning. They focus on a single story, often humorous or wry, though not always. On an occasional time, he’ll perform them in rhyme.
The 81-year-old Osgood said, “My producer Ray Bassett and I look forward to continuing the great partnership with our colleagues at CBS News and WestwoodOne who make it all possible — and so enjoyable. See you on the radio!”
