Osgood Hits Lincoln Center With Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Westwood One said Charles Osgood, host of “The Osgood File,” will perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center tomorrow, July 2. Osgood will accept an award for CBS Radio for 70 years of broadcasting the choir’s performances.
He will be the guest narrator at
an event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the choir’s weekly radio broadcasts of “Music and the Spoken Word.” He also composed a musical piece for the choir, called “The Pledge of Allegiance.”
