Ownership Debate Slated For Richmond
Publish date:

The FCC plans to hold a public hearing on media ownership issues in Richmond in February. Chairman Michael Powell said a local hearing in a mid-size market would provide value, although he said budget constraints and a commitment not to further delay completion of the proceeding were "paramount considerations" in choosing the location.
The commission released 12 media ownership studies in early October and is currently soliciting comments on those studies.
