Panasonic Will Develop HD Radios for the Car

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. will integrate HD Radio technology into its line of Panasonic-brand receivers for cars in 2004.
Panasonic claims to be the third-largest OEM supplier in the U.S. with customers such as General Motors, Honda, Nissan, Toyota and others.
According to a spokesperson at Panasonic Automotive Systems Company, “We … believe the integration of HD Radio technology into Panasonic receivers will enhance consumer lifestyles around the world.”
