This winter, music streaming service Pandora will bring its Discovery Den from the SXSW festival in Austin to New York for the first time.
Pandora will host the Holiday Discovery Den at The Grand Ballroom in New York City on Dec. 7, with performances by Pretty Lights, Chromeo (DJ Set), as well as Tegan and Sara.
Pandora selected the artists for the Holiday Discovery Den by analyzing the musical preferences of local New York listeners based upon their customized Pandora stations. Event invitations were then extended to a group of Pandora listeners in the tri-state area identified as fans of the artists and similar artists by the streaming service.
Admission to the event is free with an advance RSVP, and attendees will experience activities, including a photo booth and giveaways from sponsors Glade, Roku, Canon, RetailMeNot, TBS’s “Cougar Town” and Clinique.
The “Glade Discover the Holidays” station, featuring exclusive performances of seasonal songs, will also be available online.
