Pandora Hires New SVP of Agency and Advertiser Development

Alan Schanzer will work with brands, ad agencies

Alan Schanzer has joined Pandora as senior vice president of agency and advertiser development. He will report to Chief Revenue Officer John Trimble.

Schanzer will lead the company’s collaborations with advertising agencies and brands, providing strategic counsel to marketers and leveraging feedback to help Pandora build new products.

He comes to Pandora with two decades of experience in the media industry. Most recently, Schanzer served as chief client officer at Undertone Networks, where he worked with companies to create customized, cross-screen advertising solutions. Before joining Undertone, Schanzer was managing partner at MEC Interaction, where he worked with brands including AT&T, Citibank, Xerox, Campbell’s, Colgate, Paramount, Range Rover and Jaguar.

Schanzer will be an evangelist for the company and its advertising solutions, including the newly launched In-Car Advertising, Promoted Stations and Sponsored Listening offerings.
