Pastore Wins NRB Talk Show Honor

It’s a home run for Frank Pastore.
The former pro baseball pitcher is a radio host in Los Angeles on Salem’s KKLA(FM). His show has won the National Religious Broadcasters award as “Radio Talk Show of the Year.” He airs 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
Pastore is a former player for the Cincinnati Reds and Minnesota Twins; he has graduate degrees in theology and political science. Salem exec Joe Davis called Pastore “the quintessential Salem talk show host.” The award will be presented at the NRB convention in Orlando in February.
