Patriot Antennas Lands GSA Schedule

Company can bypass ‘overwhelming’ federal bid process and paperwork.

Patriot Antenna Systems now has a GSA schedule.

The company, which makes antennas for broadcast, military and other specialized users, made the announcement along with ProGov Solutions, with which it entered a management and marketing agreement.

The Federal Supply Schedule Contract with the General Services Administration will allow federal entities, military installations, consulates and other users to purchase Patriot products at will, with no cap, at pre-negotiated prices, without public bidding until May 2013.

The schedule falls under Schedule 70 for Information Technology products and services, and it is also open to state agencies.

Patriot hopes the deal will make its VSAT, Mobile, TVRO and Quick Deploy offerings more readily available to federal buyers. “As a GSA-approved contractor, Patriot will be able to bypass the overwhelming bid process and mountains of paperwork,” it stated.
