People Magazine Names Broadcast Correspondent

People Magazine has appointed Lisa Karlin as its broadcast correspondent. Karlin will broadcast People-branded daily entertainment updates as well as reports from People Magazine via CBS Radio News.
Karlin’s first assignment is a live, backstage report from the Grammy Awards on Feb. 23 and her daily segments will begin airing on March 10. She will also broadcast segments focusing on People’s weekly cover stories, produced midweek and fed to both CBS Radio News and Infinity FM stations, as well as special multi-part entertainment reports tied to major industry events, including the Academy Awards and the Emmy’s.
Karlin was most recently an on-air reporter for TIME magazine and spent 10 years reporting for Entertainment Weekly. The magazine claims more than 35 million people read People each week.
