Allen Power will have a new prominent role at Salem Media Group soon.
The company has announced several changes to the leadership structure in its Broadcast Media division, to take effect in January.
Power will become president of broadcast media, promoted from his current role as senior VP. That position has been vacant since David Santrella became CEO last winter.
Santrella, said in the announcement, “Allen Power and I have worked and collaborated closely for 18 of my 21 years with Salem.” Santrella cited Power’s “keen operational experience combined with his strong hand of leadership.”
Linnae Young will be promoted from senior vice president, operations to executive vice president, operations and revenue development.
“In Young’s new expanded role, she will work across Salem’s broadcast and digital platform to grow the company’s 360-degree approach for our marketing and ministry partners,” the company said.
Regional VP and Chicago General Manager Jeff Reisman will become senior vice president, operations, overseeing radio markets in the eastern part of the United States.
Santrella said the fact that the promotions are all from within “is further proof that Salem appreciates and believes in our employees and rewards hard work and success.”
