Peter Jennings Slated to Moderate War Prep Town Hall Show

ABC News Radio will broadcast a town hall meeting focusing on America’s preparation for war against Iraq. Peter Jennings will moderate “On the Brink of War: America Speaks Out” on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 9p.m. Eastern. The one-hour radio broadcast will originate from Albuquerque, N.M. Guests include: New Mexico Governor and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Bill Richardson; senior commanders from regional Air Force Bases; top weapons experts from the Los Alamos and Sandia National Labs; a general from the White Sands Missile Range; and men, women, children, soldiers and their families to discuss the prospect of war. Andrew Kalb, assistant director of news planning for ABC News Radio, will produce the live town hall meeting.
