Norm Philips, former director of technical operations for Susquehanna Radio, has a new gig.
In Charlotte, he told me he’s vice president of engineering for a new ownership group, Gap Broadcasting (gapbroadcasting.com). The company is based in Dallas (so Norm didn’t have to move) and specializes in small and midsized markets. Gap has 59 radio stations and one TV station.
He said Gap purchased a number of the stations recently spun-off by Clear Channel.
