For decades acoustic treatment products looked like, well, acoustic treatment products: “egg cartons,” foam triangles and bubbles and white drop ceiling tiles.
That has radically changed over the last few years. An exampe is pinta acoustic’s new Whisperwave line.
The line is designed around a “wave” vaguely reminiscent of Coca-Cola’s “dynamic ribbon device.” The company calls it a “curved accent.”
Available products can be hung from ceilings, mounted on wails or used as an awning.
The panels are made of Class 1 fire-rated willtec foam. Thicknesses of the 48-inch x 96-inch panels are 1.5 inches, 2 inches or 3 inches. Custom panel sizes can be created.
