Several Radio World/NewBay Media staff and contributors are recipients of the INKY Awards, hosted by marketing communications firm LOI International.
They were announced in Las Vegas concurrently with the NAB Show.
Radio World Contributing Editor Skip Pizzi was named Stupendous Staffer (Radio/Audio Production). RW Publisher John Casey took honors as Kick-Butt Sales Rep (Radio-U.S.).James O’Neal, whose work appears in Radio World but is a full-time employee of sister publication TV Technology, was named Stupendous Staffer (Television/Video Production).
Caroline Freeland was cited as Unsung Behind the Scenes Hero; she works on both RW and TV Tech.
Also honored were Mark Hallinger of TV Technology Europe & TV Technology Asia as Excellent Editor (Television-International); Craig Norris for TV Technology Europe & TV Technology Asia as Fab Freelancer; and Vytas Urbonas of TV Technology as Kick-Butt Sales Rep (Television-U.S.).
