Pizzi Hosts Surround Session at AES

Skip Pizzi will host a session at the upcoming AES convention in San Francisco, about how to prepare a commercial station for surround.
The session “Broadcast Tutorial: Introducing Surround Sound to Commercial Radio” will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The session focuses on the studio and recording side; another session looks at the transmission angle.
Pizzi is contributing editor to Radio World and co-chair of the NRSC surround sound subcommittee for the NRSC.
