Podbridge Inc. changed its name to Volo Media Inc.
The company is a provider of advertising and audience measurement services for downloadable media. It said the market for downloadable content is expected to grow to more than 60 million by 2010.
Volo Media inserts video and audio advertising into downloadable media environments and also tracks usage, demographics and consumer behavior.
The change also reflects “the rapidly evolving market for downloadable media as it expands from traditional podcast subscriptions to other forms such as progressive and peer-to-peer downloads, as well as IPTV.”
The name is from the Italian word for flight.
