Polk Starts to Ship I-Sonic

Polk Audio has begun shipping its I-Sonic entertainment system that includes HD Radio. The company has started shipping radios to broadcasters who had pre-ordered and to Tweeter. Shipments have also begun for those customers who ordered via Polk’s Web site.
As we’ve reported, Polk expects supply to be tight initially, however a spokesman says the company does expect to have enough units produced in time for the fourth quarter selling season.
The I-Sonic entertainment system lists at $599 in the United States and $719 in Canada. A broadcaster affiliate program is available (www.polkaudio.com).
