‘Pop Radio’ Targets Gen-X

Gary Begin, consulting partner with Identity Programming, announced an exclusive affiliate relations and sales partnership with Prairie Radio Consulting of Indianapolis for its new adult radio format, “Pop Radio The Best Variety of the 80s, 90s and Now.”
The format was conceived by Prairie Radio President Peter Oleshchuk and targets AC listeners 25–44, or adults of the Generation X era, born between 1961–81. It is available with or without personalities. “It’s like an old-style top 40 format but relevant to today’s audience,” said Begin, who also contributes to Radio World.
