Potomac Instruments has begun shipping the PI 4100 medium-wave field strength meter.
It measures field strengths from 30 uV/m to 20 V/m over a 520 kHz to 5.1 MHz frequency range.
The meter includes a GPS receiver allowing location, radial degrees and distance and field strength data to be logged to internal flash memory.
The measurement frequency is digitally tuned in 1 kHz steps.
