The FCC is not going to rush to complete its overhaul of media ownership rules. Agency Chairman Michael Powell says he wants to get it right, and have the commission gather any information it might need to defend new rules in court.
He told the Los Angeles Times no final action on media ownership rules is likely until early next year.
