Powell, Shapiro to Chat Friday

The International CES, the consumer electronics tradeshow, is taking place through Sunday.
Friday at noon at the Las Vegas Hilton, FCC Chairman Michael Powell will participate in a “One-on-One” session with Consumer Electronics Association President and CEO Gary Shapiro.
The discussion will include the transition to digital TV, broadband deployment, consumer home recording rights, spectrum management and other issues critical to the consumer electronics industry.
