Premiere Cuts Radio Offerings for 2003

Fifteen radio programs and services provided by Premiere Radio Networks will find themselves off-air after 2002, resulting in approximately 100 layoffs at the company.
President/COO Kraig Kitchin said the cuts are due to a re-evaluation of how relevant the programs are to audiences and advertisers as the company works to remain competitive. According to Kitchin, Premiere currently has “more products and services than any other national radio syndication company.”
The cuts include several production libraries and countdown, business and interview programs and services.
