The White House has signaled its intention to re-nominate Deborah Tate as an FCC commissioner.

The White House has signaled its intention to re-nominate Deborah Tate as an FCC commissioner.

Tate’s next five-year term would expire June 30, 2012. The Republican previously served as chairman of the Tennessee Regulatory Authority.

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin stated that Tate “has served admirably at the commission for the past year and a half.”
