If radio stations divide up their channels into multiple program streams, they’ll need more content.
Public Radio International now is offering programming options for noncomm stations that plan to divide their digital channels into several streams or supplemental audio channels. Certain programming would be free for two years for SAC use, including BBC World Service, BBC Mundo – a new 24-hour news service for Spanish-speaking audiences, and Classical 24.
Each option is available to PRI affiliate stations free of charge for two years, FY05-06. All PRI exclusivity policies apply.
