New Hampshire Public Radio’s Michael Arnold is the new director of programming for Public Radio International. He begins work in Minneapolis on Nov. 1.
At NHPR, Arnold was program director and vice president for program since 2003. Previously, he was PD of WUNC(FM), Chapel Hill, N.C. for five years.
He began his career in radio at WBST(FM), Muncie, Ind. and went on to work as a news director for WBAA(FM), West Lafayette, Ind., the program service manager for Northwest Public Radio in Washington State, and associate GM at WWNO(FM)in New Orleans.
