Hubbard Radio is now up and running with the sports betting format it announced earlier for the HD2 channel of KNUC in Seattle. And it has announced the branding. 
The company calls Tulalip Sportsbook Radio “the radio industry’s first sportsbook branded radio station.” Title sponsors are Tulalip Resort Casino and Quil Ceda Creek Casino. Listeners will need an HD Radio receiver to hear it at 98.9-HD2.
Sports betting network VSiN is providing content from betting experts and bookmakers “to inform and entertain the growing number of people betting on sports.” Sister station KIXI(AM) airs Brent Musburger’s one-minute “Action Updates” and other VSiN programming.
Trip Reeb, market manager for Hubbard Radio Seattle, said Hubbard has a long partnership with Tulalip Resort Casino and said the radio industry has seen “rapid expansion” in the sports betting space.
