The Public Radio Satellite System has replenished its satellite capacity and begun a system-wide project to make station downlinks more agile.
PRSS migrated its services from PamAmSat Corp.’s Galaxy XI to Galaxy IV-R on June 26. PRSS said the outage time for each transponder was less than 3 minutes.
PRSS had been using Galaxy XI since the failure of Galaxy IV in May 1998.
