After three years of decline, public radio’s Average Quarter Hour Persons audience grew 3% in the Spring 2007 survey.
That’s according to the Radio Research Consortium, which analyzes audience data for stations receiving funds from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The AQH rise means public radio captures 5% of radio listening.
Pubcasters reached 27.9 million persons age 12+ in an average week or 11.1% of the U.S. population.
RRC based the figures on the Arbitron Nationwide.
