RAB Creates International Training Post

The Radio Advertising Bureau has promoted Bud Stiker to vice president of international development, a new position developed in response to the “significant increase” in international training activity over the last several years.
Prior to joining RAB last year as Professor of Sales for its Training Academy, Stiker was an executive with Metromedia International, managing stations in Budapest and Moscow, and developing sales staffs and strategies in Prague, St. Petersburg, Riga, Tallinn and Berlin. He has been a GM of stations in Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Baltimore and Dallas/Ft. Worth, a group head for Meredith Broadcasting and a regional sales manager for the NBC Radio Network.
“We believe that there is an immediate opportunity for expansion into the international arena,” said Gary Fries, the president and CEO of RAB.
