RAB Pulls Back Radio Revenue Reports

Drops quarterly releases, moves to biannual revenue reports to match other media

The Radio Advertising Bureau has decided to release radio revenue reports less often.

The RAB has been releasing revenues quarterly, and would have done so tomorrow.

In a statement on its website, the RAB says it’s moving to biannual revenue reports “In keeping with revenue reporting schedules of other media and marketer organizations.”

For 2015, the RAB will issue reports for the first half and year-end.

The RAB joins the Newspaper Association of America and the Television Bureau of Advertising, which both cut back to biannual reports.
